To add a new node to a cluster, go to the cluster page under Hosts -> Cluster. If there is not yet a cluster, please visit the Create a new cluster article before continuing. Click on the Add (wizard) button and enter the address (IP or FQDN), credentials, whether to use TLS or not, and whether to use http proxy or not.
Please note that the node that is added will be overwritten with the current cluster configuration.
Click on the Add button to add the node to the cluster.
Also, a new node can be added by clicking on the + Add button under Hosts -> Cluster. This alternative allows entering more details for the node to be added. The following options are available:
- ID - (optional) Specify a unique ID for this node.
- Serial - Serial number, found under Operations -> Licenses.
- Username - A username with full access.
- Password - Password for the username.
- Address - Address (IP or FQDN) to the node.
- Port - Specify a port number.
- TLS - Whether to use TLS, or not.
- TLS fingerprint - The TLS fingerprint for the certificate, found by clicking on Show certificate info under the https listener at Hosts > Services > Web admin.
- HTTP Proxy - Whether to inherit the proxy settings, or not.
Please note that the node that is added will be overwritten with the current cluster configuration.
Click on the Add and apply button to add the node to the cluster.
