In certain circumstances, there might be a need to increase or decrease the value of a SpamAssassin parameter - or even entirely bypass it, by setting the value to 0 (zero). This can be done as follows.
- Select Configuration -> Anti-spam/virus -> SpamAssassin.
- In the User-defined rules box, enter a new line, for example, score SPOOFED_FREEMAIL_NO_RDNS 1.3, to set the SA parameter 'SPOOFED_FREEMAIL_NO_RDNS' to the value '1.3'.
- Press the Save button.
To verify that the user-defined rules do not have a syntax error, run the "spamassassin --lint" command under Hosts -> System -> Terminal.
